Breast Surgery

Dr. Carr uses both traditional and new limited scar techniques. Increasingly popular is the endoscopic breast augmentation, where small incisions are placed in the underarm so that there is virtually no visible scarring on the breasts! However, Dr. Carr is also familiar with more traditional breast augmentation techniques which involve creating small incisions either on the edge of the areola or under the natural breast crease. Dr. Carr was the first plastic surgeon, and one of the few surgeons in Canada today, to offer the “TUBA” method of breast augmentation – where a small incision is placed almost imperceptibly in the belly button…virtually “scarless” breast surgery!
