Hi Marilyn I think she means the roundness that comes at the top of a "fake" breast some gilrs relaly like alot of "upper pole fullness" which gives them the round shape at the top of their breast.....at least thats what i think it means.... cheers

Hi Marilyn,
Shady is right, the upper poleness means that there is no 'slant' that is generally the natural shape on anyone over 20 It's not bad if both breasts are that way - but mine aren't. Some girls really like the look - some don't.
I have a lot of upper poleness on my reconstructed side and quite honestly don't like it. I have to shorten my other bra strap to "hike" up the other breast so it looks more symetrical.
I'm actually going for some second opinions re the upper poleness and a scarring issue. I just tried to book with Dr. Brown and the first available appointment is in Feb 2006!
I'm going to try a few others. _________________ Linda

Hey linda!
do you think you have scarring underneath the breast that is stopping the implant from dropping? I guess it never really moved from its initial position if the upper pole fullness is still there.
So Dr Brown in general doesnt have consultations till next year or is that only for reconstruction patients? did you go on a cancellation list? _________________ PLEASE MENTION CANADABA.CA WHEN ON CONSULTATIONS! |

Hey Sarah! Miss u girl!
I was told by Dr. Brown's office that because I've already had the reconstruction done that I have to move to the back of the class.
Actually I can't believe that I'm booking with "Mr. Reconstruction", but I guess if anyone knows why this is happing he would.
Personally I think you're dead on.........I do believe that my Z-Plasty scar adhered to the implant and is not letting it drop - plus now there is a substantial dent where the scar is.
I'm trying to find some more reconstruction specialists I can book with.
That sad part is that there are all quite busy and we all know what that means - many many more women diagnosed _________________ Linda
