Medical Training:
Dr. Macadam completed a Bachelors of Science degree at McGill University. She completed her medical school and plastic surgery residency at the University of British Columbia. She then completed a microsurgical breast reconstruction and aesthetic breast and body surgery fellowship at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore MD. Following this she went on to complete a Masters of Health Sciences at the Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr. Macadam is a Clinical Associate Professor within the Division of Plastic Surgery at UBC and is on staff at Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital and St Paul?s Hospital in Vancouver BC. She is currently serving as the president of the Canadian Group for Advancement of Microsurgery. She is also co-director of research within the Division of Plastic Surgery at UBC and is an active member in numerous professional organizations including the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgery and the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons.
